ADAF Bolivia is the Academy of Dance Art and Folklore of Bolivia in La Paz. It was created on August 7, 1999 with the aim of keeping alive the wonderful Bolivian culture expressed through dance. Director Roberto Sardon Orihuela is a former student of Professor Manuel Acosta, director of the National Ballet of Bolivia, which is part of the Ministry of Education and Culture. He is also the national delegate of CIOFF Bolivia. Children enter the Dance School from the age of 5 and according to their possibility do psychomotricity and initiation to folk dance. Then they can learn the steps and more theoretical things. There are dozens of traditional Bolivian dances. You can know some of them like the dance of the Caporals, Tinku, Cueca, Taquirari, but also the most famous, the Diablada.
