The group is called “La Ciamada Nissarda” which means “Aubade Niçoise” and it comes from Nice in the Alpes Maritimes, Côte d’Azur region. Originally a small theatre in 1925, it was followed by singing and in 1950, the theatre gradually gave way to dance. Many researches are carried out to revive traditions, music, costumes, patronal celebrations. The orchestra is composed of a drum, a bass drum and an accordion. The children you will see are part of the youth section of the group. It should be noted that thanks to the municipality, initiation is also practiced in the schools of Nice!
